The Dinosaur: A Tribute to Yasser Alwan Exhibition, launched during Cairo Photo Week 2025, honors Yasser Alwan — a dear friend, devoted father, and extraordinary photographer. Unlike many, Yasser uniquely invited everyone around him into his photographic world. He was passionate about sharing his work, sparking conversations, and provoking thoughtful questions about the nature of photography, encouraging us to reconsider how we perceive and engage with images.

Tides, 2024

Hosted by the French Institute in Cairo, the exhibition showcases five artists, with photography as the core medium in their work. Unlike typical group exhibitions, Tides does not present the artworks under a single conceptual framework or unified narrative. Instead, it emphasizes themes like mobility, travel, and wandering as key to understanding the development and production of the projects, highlighting how geographic and temporal shifts influence their research paths.

Whispers for return, 2023

Between dystopia and yearning for a better future, this film exhibition share the uneasy visions and sometimes poetic reflections on our current world. “Whispers for Return” hosted by Takhshina Gallery in Cairo, is an exhibition that offers us an immersive experience of forgotten sounds, images, and colors in the midst of our gray lives and the claims of eternal development.

FAROUK iBRAHIM: the legend, 2023

Over sixty years of dedicated photojournalism, Farouk Ibrahim built an extensive archive capturing the defining moments that shaped Egypt’s collective consciousness. It seemed as though Ibrahim was always in the right place at the right time. His photographs hold significance not only for the events they depict but also for their deep connection to Egypt’s political, social, and artistic history. The collection was unveiled during Cairo Photo Week 2023.

OBLIVIOUS TO ME, 2021

A group exhibition organized by Bab Sharq Art Space in Alexandria, showcasing the work of participants from the Photography Lab program. The exhibition featured nine projects created during the course of the lab.

kEVÄT eGYPTISTÄ, 2015

Co-curated with Akkigalleria. This exhibition was a gracious invitation from Akkigalleria to collaborate on a group show featuring Egyptian artists, proudly presented at the gallery in Jyväskylä.
